Meet Richard Yaffin.  His grandfather was Solomon Yaffin who worked in Russia as one of the Tsar's  famous goldsmiths. His father was David Yaffin who began his jewelry career in Boston in 1920, not creating jewelry, but buying and reselling pre-owned diamonds and gems. Richard was born and raised in Saint Petersburg, Florida and joined his father's business in the early 1970's in their downtown St. Pete jewelry store. After 30 years of business, the Florida location was sold so Richard could relocate to the Asheville mountains.  In 2005, he returned to business and opened his shop in Biltmore Village featuring  pre-owned jewelry exclusively. In 2009, he moved the business to its current larger location in The Shops of Biltmore Courtyard.

Who Are We?

Whether you are buying,  selling, or just browsing, come meet Richard.  The shop is lovely, the inventory is amazing and the prices are unbeleavably low. He speaks, "I love my life and enjoy every day, doing what I do and trying to be the best I can." Regarding buying estate jewelry,"Every day is  like a treasure hunt...
